The very 5 Essential Things when Preparing for MEDICAL ENTRANCE TEST
There was a time when there was nothing like an Entrance Test. Open merit was the only criteria for getting admission to any prestigious institute. But time changed and it affected our Education system that severely that the institutes were forced to make an Entrance Test Filter to refine the Best of the Best. Now it is an essential thing to do and here are some essentials things when you are preparing for a test.
1) ESSENTIAL BOOKS:
Now that’s a very important question coming to a student preparing for an Entrance test. The easy answer lies in the books that you are going through for previous 2 years. Yes! Your "TEXTBOOKS"
These are the essential necessity for the entrance test. Because the questions coming in the test are directly or indirectly relation with your textbooks. Some questions are a mere line of your TEXTBOOK. So Don’t follow the ” Guide to entrance test” kind of thing or some academy notes and stick to your TEXTBOOKS.
“So, 1st Rule is to Let the TEXT BOOKS RULE”
2) ACADEMY OR SELF-STUDY:
At first, I really thought that without this “ACADEMY THING” I cannot take down the Entrance test. I enrolled myself to an academy and got the result that I failed to get the admission. Now that’s conflicting because you have the academy going toppers. But if only you have seen closely you will see that those toppers were more relying on their self -study .
Another thing worth mentioning is the timing of these academies as for they take out your 6-7 hours of a day. Just imagine, Do you really need to waste your precious 6-7 hours to study for you have already studied? Do attend the Academy test session because it will train you for the time management and stress management key rules unless you yourself have a solution for that thing.
“So, 2nd Rule is to STICK TO THE SELF-STUDY”
3) DON’T COMPARE:
One thing that I noticed during my time was that messages or facebook group talks where you are given test questions.
My Advice to you is to never attend any of this bullshit. Because it will do you no good. Let's imagine you are very intelligent and you answer the question but I have seen those questions and I can tell you that very low ratio will be able to answer them. Those who do answer them regularly, don’t get the permit to be admitted on the immediate basis and I've seen them getting no admission.
“So, 3rd Rule is to DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF WITH ANYONE, DON’T ATTEND THESE KINDS OF ONLINE TEST SESSIONS”
4) Course Revision:
If your mind is sharp above mentioned rules can be twisted a bit but if you are an average student like myself then do act on them. When I was doing mine entrance test, a question came to my mind that how many times should I revise my Course?
The answer to this is when your mind is satisfied. Now this satisfaction for some student will come in the very 1st read but for some like me unless I have done it for 4-5 times there will be no satisfaction.
“So,4th Rule is to REVISE THE COURSE MANY TIMES”
5) BE MENTALLY SATISFIED:
After getting my personal experience I have come to this result that whether you get the admission or no admission you should be mentally satisfied, internally happy with your effort. 1st time when I gave my entrance test I did not do what I should have done so I was depressed afterward.
2nd time when I sat there giving the test, I was internally satisfied and happy with my effort and had a big smile on my face at that time.
You know why? Because I did what I should have done. I have gone through MY COURSE many times and read my TEXTBOOKS and I did not take those online test sessions.
