5 Qualities That One Must Have To Be a Good Doctor

It may seem like a pretty little cheap thing but believe me it is one of the most powerful source that is going to help you to treat your patients. I would like to mention here that I have a very strong impression or just say it a Belief that

“Half of the patient is relieved from his misery/disease/illness when he enters a room and sees a well-dressed fellow with a pleasantly delightful smile on his face”

A POLITE LISTENER: 

Here is a scenario: You are some Middle or lower Middle Class fellow working from day to night for a living. But you have managed yourself a pleasant simple happy Life. But suddenly the situation takes a turn, Nature makes a move and you or your close one falls ill. You arrange for the money and pay a visit to the city well-known doctor. Here a thing I will mention that typical Middle class never ever pays a visit to a doctor unless they 2 3 of their family members or in some cases the whole family. So Packed with all this when you enter the Doctor’s room and sit in front of him which of the following fellow you would like to see. A- A Typical Calculator kind of guy who just lets you speak 2 3 lines and gives you your description. OR B- A Real Gentleman kind of fellow who listens to you for the time you wanna speak out, and then begins with a line; “I completely understand your condition and you don’t need to be worry” I hope your choice would be pretty obvious.
So, 2nd Thing is to BE A POLITE LISTENER.

AN ATM DESTROYER: 

Disease,illness don’t make any discrimination when they make out their victims then why do a Doctor should? Why should Doctor make such a standard that only people from a particular group or class can approach him? In my opinion a Doctor should be in range of every class of the society. You can do that for once in a week for a starter and believe me you will increase this dosage when you will see that satisfaction. You will see many a Money making Doctor fellow that they seem like an ATM machine. Please Don’t be like them. It may seem like a bunch of words against the doctors but you will get my point when you will think it twice.
So, 3rd Thing is NOT TO BE AN ATM MACHINE RATHER BE AN ATM DESTROYER.

RESPECT: 

This point is very important. It will make not only your Medical practice more prosperous but also your AFTERLIFE. Yes! Rudeness is the worst thing a doctor can have. I have seen my parents talking about a Doctor in these words,

“O banda koi dactar ae, Tameez nal gal karni ty andi nae ounu!”

I have seen that doctor and this sentence is no exaggeration. Please don’t follow that man’s mark and be polite instead and set an example for others. That your patients compliment you behind you that “This man is more than just a doctor, he is a real good gentleman” Respect your patient because it is the only way that will earn your respect.
So, 4th Thing is to FORGET RUDENESS and START GIVING RESPECT.

DECORATION: 

In particular this word does not match with the Medical field but it is an important point for the welfare of your patient’s treatment. Believe by the word decoration I really don’t mean by those glitters and lightening you see on wedding lawns rather I am talking about greenery. Yes! That is the best decoration any human can arrange. I have read about it in a research that about 60% of a person’s stress vanishes when he mere sees at greenery. Whether you have a private clinic or affiliated with a hospital please pay heed to this point. Do have Plant pots outside your office or in the waiting zone if possible. If not then at least do have some Nature depicting pictures hanging in your office where the patients can see them beside it is good for yourself too.
So, 5th Thing is to DECORATE YOUR OFFICE WITH NATURE DEPICTING OBJECTS.
